A 70km loop going from Poncin to Thoirette, goes up the left bank and goes down the right bank (smaller loop possible).

The river then flows through gorges framed by imposing limestone ledges. Discover fairy chimneys, balcony villages, and works of art by following the picturesque road of the Gorges de l'Ain.

Curious river, jewel of the department to which it gave its name, wild and changing course. Many streams and waterfalls are accessible from the Gorges de l'Ain road, giving it an even more exceptional character.
