An extraordinary journey through the senses! The voluptuousness and softness of silk combined with the flavors of chocolate. Christophe Mennozzi offers a unique sensory discovery combining the touch of a selection of silky fabrics with a tasting of chocolates from the Meilleur Ouvrier de France Aindinois Vincent Durant during a discovery visit and an exceptional workshop at the Museum.

DEMONSTRATION
SILK COLORS
The Bonnet Silk Museum offers hand-painting demonstrations with the Soie et Sens workshop. During the tour of the factory, a “painter” will explain to you her art and her know-how, which was one of the emblematic productions of Soieries Bonnet.

This unique exhibition transports you into the world of Yves Saint Laurent's emblematic creations. A fashion visionary, he revolutionized the codes of elegance with audacity and freedom. The tour highlights the designer's style and his links with Soieries Bonnet, which is one of the suppliers of fabrics to his fashion house and his ready-to-wear line.

CAFE STORY “BEING A CHILD IN THE FACTORY”
To mark the 150th anniversary of the law on child labor, the Musée des Soieries Bonnet invites you to an exchange on this subject, especially on the work of underage girls in the 19th century.
A subject which recalls the history of this former boarding school factory which welcomed young girls between 13 and 21 years old into its workshops for a long time.

WELL-BEING WORKSHOP AROUND SILK
“Soft silk!”

COPPER & SILK FESTIVAL
On this day where industrial heritage is in the spotlight, silk know-how is highlighted with the presentation of weaving looms and miniature textile machines in operation, in partnership with the Weaving and Weaving Museum. Bussiere Silk.

EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS (JEP)
The European Heritage Days are an opportunity to make heritage accessible to all, like the Bonnet Silk Museum.
All weekend long, visitors can discover the old production workshops and the old chapel of the factory on a guided tour, the permanent exhibitions on a self-guided tour and the Yves Saint Laurent exhibition on flash tours.

SILK IN LYON... FROM JUJURIEUX!
One last weekend to enjoy the Yves Saint Laurent Museum and exhibition, combining the visit with the Silk In Lyon event, the first silk festival in France. The museum is one of the main partners of the Festival by offering DIY workshops and conferences.
