The Musée des Soieries Bonnet honors the great couturier Nicolas Fafiotte. From Oyonnaxin Ain, his diplomas in his pocket, he made his debut in Paris in the early 2000s within the haute couture house Emmanuel Ungaro. Just 20 years ago, he chose to settle in Lyon, the capital of silk, to found his own brand. Herinventiveness, herrequirementand the intimate bond he knows how to create with his clients quickly ensure his firsthit.Hisspectacular wedding dresses, her made-to-measure evening dresses and her taste for noble materialsbecome his trademark, opening to him the doors ofprestigious collaborations. Accomplice of the first hour ofSylvie Tellier, Nicolas Fafiotte makes him exceptional dresses and his house enters in 2002 in the restricted circle of the partners of the famous competitionmiss France.

 

From 2013 to 2019, he also became a partner of theEtam Lingerie Live Showorganized each year for the opening of Paris Fashion Week.Corsets, waist cinchers, basques and other crazy creationsoften richly embroidered, he makes up to more than a hundred pieces for these exceptional evenings.
