Le 11 juillet 1944, Neuville-sur-Ain voit surgir une colonne de soldats allemands et de miliciens. Face à eux, les Maquis de l’Ain, combattants de la liberté s’engagent dans une lutte sans merci. Raconté par Nicole Millet, suivez ce récit captivant au camp de Thol.

VISITE DU VILLAGE DE CERDON
Cachés dans les montagnes, les camps de maquisards, sous l’impulsion du colonel Henri Romans-Petit, mènent des actions de sabotage percutantes. En 1944, l’opération Treffenfeld frappe et Cerdon sera en partie détruit et martyrisé. Empruntez le Sentier des Maquisards où ces résistants ont lutté pour la liberté. La visite se termine par un moment de recueillement devant le cimetière des Maquis de l’Ain et la monumentale statue du Val d’Enfer
