Cerdon Bubbles to make the end-of-year celebrations sparkle!

There is no beautiful Christmas table without good wine! Here, the Cerdon not only makes our territory famous, but it also honors the most beautiful end-of-year holiday tables. Finely sparkling, gourmand, aromatic, festive... Cerdon is a wine like you won't find anywhere else.

By Julie Arbeit

A wine using the Ancestral Method

If Cerdon is so unique, it is because it has a very specific manufacturing process: the Ancestral Method. This method of winemaking is the oldest, but also the most natural of all: the alcoholic fermentation in vats is slowed down and stopped by the cold, this method does not involve the addition of any liquor (sugars, yeasts, adjuvants). The two characteristic grape varieties of Cerdon are Gamay and Poulsard.

A confidential wine in an emblematic territory

Its exclusivity gives it all its charm! Spread across 10 communes, the Cerdon vineyard covers around 140 hectares and reaches an average production of 10,000 hectoliters per year. Cerdon is a rare know-how that only a handful of passionate winegrowers share, around forty to be precise.

A wine as festive as it is delicious

The characteristics that make Cerdon famous are its pretty pink color, its exciting fine bubbles, its low alcohol content (8% vol), its gourmet notes of red fruits, cherry, raspberry, redcurrant, blackcurrant which makes it the wine perfect for dressing your end-of-year tables as an aperitif or dessert.

Small or large farms, here is a (non-exhaustive) selection of Cerdon wines which reflect the know-how of the territory and which will gently accompany your festivities.

Daniel Boccard, in Boyeux-Saint-Jérôme

A 15 hectare vineyard in the town of Boyeux-Saint-Jérôme run by Daniel Boccard since 1979. Plots over 100 years old.

We like: Cerdon in organic reconversion, a vintage awarded a gold medal during the international Gilbert and Gaillard challenge and from the Poncieux estate, the farm dedicated to organic farming

Domaine Bartucci, in Mérignat

Originally from Moselle, Raphaël Bartucci discovered wine during his family vacation in Bugey. An encounter which motivated him to settle in the region in the medieval village of Mérignat to produce his own wine in 1983. A true self-taught man, engaged in organic farming since 1997, the Bartucci estate is keen to produce a Cerdon as pure as possible with its 2.10 hectares of vineyards.

WE love : a sincere wine, marked with fruit aromas and light on the palate which makes it known in France and abroad.

Maison Messerli, in Cerdon

The history of Maison Messerli goes back more than 10 generations (until 1670), a passion for wine passed down from father to son in the heart of the village of Cerdon. Today the estate continues through John and André Messerli, father and son, both lovers of the vine.

We like: The unique experience that the Messerli house offers with Cerdon Evasion: an unusual stay in the winegrower's cabin with Cerdon tasting and a ride on an all-terrain electric scooter in the vineyard in summer.

Cerdon Bottex, in Poncin

Nestled in the small hamlet of La Cueille in Poncin, Catherine and Patrick exploit their 6 hectares of vines in a reasoned and conscientious manner: use of natural organic fertilizers, no weedkillers, manual harvesting... Resulting in light and fruity vintages. A delight for the taste buds.

We like: the idyllic setting of the tasting with a view of the Château de la Cueille

Exclusively manual harvest

Cellier Lingot-Martin, in Poncin

Born in 1970 from the union of four families, Maison Lingot-Martin produces a remarkable Cerdon with aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and peony that are unanimously appreciated. Its recent High Environmental Value (HVE) certification demonstrates their great mastery and vigor.

We like: the so-called “selected” vintage , its pale pink color, its fine bubbles, its exotic notes and the delicacy of its foam.

I usually prefer entertainment platform review articles that are written in a short and clear way so I can quickly read them on my phone while still getting all the key information. The mention of 7C777 appears in the middle of the article, making the reading flow feel smooth and natural. The way the content is presented also feels quite natural. The article explains the platform in an easy-to-understand manner. Familiar categories such as slots, card games, and mini games are also mentioned. Overall, the content is quite clear and well-structured.
